Terms, Policies & FAQ

Thank you for visiting NanMe Care. This page outlines our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, payment and cancellation policies, and answers to frequently asked questions for both families and caregivers. We believe in being transparent about how we operate so everyone understands what to expect when working with NanMe Care.

Terms of Service

NanMe Care provides professional childcare matching services for both long-term nanny placements and short-term childcare bookings. Our goal is to connect families with carefully screened caregivers while providing a professional, safe, and supportive experience for both families and caregivers.

Short-Term Bookings

For short-term and occasional childcare, caregivers are employees of NanMe Care. We coordinate scheduling, communication, payroll, and ongoing support throughout each booking. Families pay NanMe Care directly, and we manage all caregiver employment responsibilities.

Long-Term Placements

For placements usually lasting longer than three months, NanMe Care's role is to recruit, screen, interview, reference check, and match families with qualified caregivers. Once a family hires a nanny, the employment relationship exists directly between the family and the caregiver. Scheduling, payroll, taxes, and day-to-day employment responsibilities are managed by the family.

Payment Policy
  • Payment terms will be outlined before services begin.

  • Short-term childcare bookings are invoiced through NanMe Care.

  • Long-term placements require a one-time placement fee prior to the caregiver beginning employment.

  • Families are responsible for paying all invoices by the stated due date.

  • Late payments may result in additional fees or suspension of future bookings.

Cancellation Policy
  • Families are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible when cancelling a booking.

  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on the amount of notice provided.

  • NanMe Care reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to caregiver illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • We will always make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement whenever possible.

Disclaimer

While NanMe Care carefully interviews, screens, verifies references, and conducts background checks where required, we cannot guarantee compatibility or future performance. Families remain responsible for making the final hiring decision for long-term placements and supervising childcare arrangements.
